GMR Infrastructure gets new MD

G.B.S. Raju, Managing Director of GMR Infrastructure Ltd, has resigned from his post. Srinivas Bommidala took over the reins as the new head of the organisation.

Raju opted to step down from his post because of his increased responsibility as head of the group's central procurement division which involves extensive travelling to several sites of the projects of the group both in India and abroad. He will however continue as chairman, corporate and international business.

Bommidala has occupied several leadership positions since he joined the business in 1996. Currently, he is the Business Chairman, highways and urban infrastructure and the IPL team.
